Our staff & volunteers
Lunar Foundation doesn't have any paid staff or professional volunteers.
Our Young Lunar Kids are our major support system. All planning and Execution of works are done with the help of Lunar Kids.
Our former students are also a part of this Active Team.
Our history
Lunar Foundation has been working with the underprivileged children since 2015. An activity Centre was started in the year 2017. A musical charity concert Euphony 2017 helped us to achieve this feat. The Centre began with 4 students and grew up to 50 children by 2022. These comprised of students from municipal schools, vernacular medium schools and few dropouts.
During the lockdown, we realized that many children had dropped out of school due to lack of interest, lack of finances and non teaching from the school side. These children continued to attend sessions at Lunar Activity Centre regularly.
To help those children to come back to regular school, we registered them under NIOS, and this began the Journey of Lunar Open School with 20 students.

Namely Education, Empowerment and Environment.
We strive to create an atmosphere conducive for the overall development of underprivileged children, which in turn would lead to better future for the families and the society at large.
